documentary family photography

This is not your typical photography session.

Does the idea of no matching outfits, not trying to get your 2 year old to smile, and everyone being relaxed and happy make you actually excited about family photography? If so, I might just be the photographer for you and your family.

My style of family photography is relaxed, documentary and unposed. What that translates to is awesome, natural family photos that you’ll feel stoked about hanging on your walls.

Hello friend, I’m Sierra.

I believe the best stories are the authentic and real, that hot coffee tastes best on a cold winter morning and that you can never have too much pizza. I grew up in a teeny town on the edge of the Bob Marshall Wilderness and have adore the Montana Wilderness ever since.

When I’m not behind the camera you can find me hanging out with my toddler at the library or one of the local coffee shops. I’m the one trying to convince the curly headed two year old he really doesn’t need to climb onto the counter.
